Front face: On the obverse of the medal, there is a red crescent on white enamel in the center. While there is the inscription "Muavenet-i Insaniyetkarane" above it, there is the phrase "Ottoman Hilal-i Ahmer Cemiyeti" underneath. While there is "Tuğra Reşad" on the upper handle, the enamel inscription "Ottoman Hilal-i Ahmer Cemiyeti" attracts attention. On the ribbon are the dates "1328-1329". Back face: There is an empty space on the back to write your name. The medal is given to those who physically served the Red Crescent in war. An oak leaf made of the same metal as the medal has been added to the ribbons of the medals. This medal was minted abroad and consists of various assembled pieces. At the Health Exhibition held in Paris in 1867, Dr. from Mekteb-i Tıbbiye, on behalf of the Ottoman Empire. Work on this medal was carried out with the participation of Mr. Abdullah. As a result of these studies, the Ottoman Red Crescent Society was established and the medal was given by this society.
